What I do
My storytelling draws upon a wealth of skills and talents, from creative writing, to ballad singing and mandolin playing. My style is warm, vivacious, engaging and fun. The stories I tell are taken from a wide variety of genres and always relevant to the occasion.

The participatory style I use is always popular with younger audiences, yet at the same time my story telling is very much sought after by adult audiences.

I am no stranger to developing and delivering workshops, projects and inputs for schools, nurseries, museums, libraries, voluntary agencies and in business settings.

Through my work as a Community Learning and Development worker I am also familiar with Curriculum for Excellence and creating workshops for transitional stages in school settings. I am fully disclosed and am registered with the Scottish Storytelling Centre Directory and also Scottish Book Trust.

Being listed with these agencies means that (subject to criteria) you can apply for my services through the Live Literature Funding (LLF), a national initiative enabling Scottish citizens to meet and engage with storytellers. Scottish Book Trust subsidises LLF sessions; funding is for half the fee plus their travel and expenses.
